The Humminbird HELIX 5x DI G2 echo sounder is equipped with two sonars - Down Imaging (DI) and DualBeam Plus. The DI sonar is perfect for depths of up to 100 m and gives such a good “picture” that it allows you to track the movement of the hook underwater or find fish near the bottom. It allows you to switch between two beams - a wide but less detailed 75 ° / 455 kHz beam, and a narrower 45 ° / 800 kHz with a high degree of detail. DualBeam Plus Sonar provides standard dual-beam sonar capabilities up to 180 meters. Its beams have parameters of 28 ° / 200 kHz and 16 ° / 455 kHz.

The new user interface, combined with an updated operating system, places the Humminbird Helix 5x DI G2 among the most advanced fish finders.

Humminbird Helix 5x DI G2 can be used as an echo sounder for ice fishing. To do this, just turn on the "Ice Fishing" mode (ice fishing). When Ice Fishing Mode is on, the sonar screen displays information in a traditional flasher view with additional zoom and depth options at the cursor position.

Other functions of this fishfinder and chartplotter include Fish ID +, water temperature alarms, screen capture and freeze, recording sonar data for later viewing, etc. The fishfinder has an ice fishing mode and a flasher.
